Screenshots are a picture of a game, often used to build hype or promote the game.

Taking a Screenshot

People will tell you various ways to take screenshots, but the easiest way is as follows:

• Open the window so the game [you want to take a screenshot of] is visible on the screen.

• Press the PrintScrn/SysRq key on your keyboard.

• Open an image editing program, such as Microsoft Paint.

• Hold the Ctrl key and hit 'V' (Ctrl+V).

• The image you just took should appear in the image editing program.

Windows Vista

If you have Windows Vista, you can simply open the Snipping Tool (Start: All Programs: Accessories: Snipping Tool) and follow the instructions given there.
