Artificial Intelligence is the appearance of decision making from something that is controlled by a computer.
AI, as it is commonly abbreviated, is a key factor in games, as it can determine the amount of challenge a game will offer.
AI in Engine 001
NPCs with active AI will attempt to destroy any other character, that it has been made aggressive towards, if it gets within it's range. The attacking speed of the weapon wielded by the AI can be edited to change its potency to others. If it is desired, a programmer can set an NPC to remain near where it was posted, instead of just running after its enemies forever.
